Happy Birthday to Faitala!! I cant believe how fast the time has gone. It makes me kinda sad. It seems like just the other day we were bringing him home and just getting used to having a baby around. It has been an amazing year. I would not trade it for anything. I just love this kid so much. I miss the little baby but I love the little boy that has taken his place. His hugs and kisses, his smile when I come home from work. His little giggle and his unconditional love for his Mommy and Daddy. I feel so blessed to have him in my life. He has been the best thing in our lives. I cant wait for many more birthdays and great memories.
For dinner we gave him mashed potatos and green beans and he loved them. He ate it all up and he even got more potatos.
So, for those of you who dont know Albertsons does 1 year birthday cakes for free. They are a small 8 in cake. We turned out the lights and lit Tala's one birthday candle and sang Happy Birthday. He wasnt so sure about it at first but as you can see below, it didnt take long. Once he got a taste of the frosting he just kept on eating.
