Time sure flies!!

Hi all,
Well, things have been a bit crazy since I last posted. Tala and I took our first road trip alone to Colorado. Luckily we had Diana with us on the way and Stacey with us on the way back or we may not have made it past Provo. We went with Mom and Diana to Sanford Colorado for Diana's bridal shower. We had a good time hanging out with my cousins Gregg and Rose Porter and their 2 boys, Hunter and Grant. It was a long trip but we made it and for the most part enjoyed it. Tala got a little shock when after looking like he may be choking while in the car on the way he was pulled out of his carseat turned upside down, backwards and then up again before he could even take another breath. I think it shocked him so much that he didnt make a peep for about 10 minutes. I of course was freaking out and balling thinking he was in some sort of mortal danger. Of course looking back now I may have been a little quick to react. I guess it's the first time Mom syndrome. I sure gave my Mom a scare though, she pulled over pretty quick. We were all okay in the end and now I have to laugh, the poor kid didnt have a chance to choke if I had anything to do with it.
I sure love being a Mom, I feel very blessed that I have been able to stay home for at least the first 3 months. Mane has been amazing and I couldnt have asked for a better Father for our children. He is so quick to help with diapers, feeding and watching Tala so that I can sleep. He frequently comes home and orders me to take a nap while he cares for the baby. He always wants to be with Tala as soon as he gets home from work and is so cute with him. Tala is very lucky to have such a great Dad. I hope he sees that some day.
